History has long been my subject since childhood. I do not know why but I am very much attracted to what has gone by in the past and how the people used to live in olden days. I remember when I was a small child, my father used to take me to his voyages. He was a ship captain. My father was the one who took me to various places which I can not even imagine in my dreams. It is because of my visits to different and different places that I developed a keen interest in history of the world. My father, realizing my interest in historical monuments, used to bring for me the books on the greatest of the countries which have remarkable history. I learned a lot of things about the history of the Egypt, history of the different European cultures, history of the Mughal Indians etc.
